Created in 2009, Follow Me Not is initially a solo project
project of Nicolas Guerroué (former host of the Black Planet
on Radio Méduse in Lorient, ex-president of the Clysen association).
The recent arrival (March 2016) of bassist Mik Chevalier (ex
October 27th, coldwave band from Quimper) announces the desire
to develop the project and to play concerts.
Follow Me Not officiates in a Rock-PostPunk vein,
tinged with shoegaze, with musical references :
The Cure, Echo And The Bunnymen, The Jesus And Mary Chain,
but also more recent bands like the Raveonettes,
A Place To Bury Strangers and Sigur Ros.
The band released the 45t 'We'Re Dying' in September
2018 and their sixth album 'If The Sky Remains',
was released in September 2017, under the label
Unknown Pleasures Records as did their previous album
'Nothing Comes With ASmile' in 2016.
The new album "VANISHING SMILE" was released on 20
20 January 2020 on a limited CD, again on Unknown Pleasures
Records and on limited and numbered vinyl.
Since 2016, the band has been playing a series of concerts
(with among others: The Stranglers, Wayne Hussey, Modern
English, No More, Hord, Egoprism, Spleen XXX,
Bragolin, Magma ...)
